Gaysorn Launches Upscale Bangkok Residential Property

Gaysorn Property Co opens Tela Tonglor, a luxury residential condominium in Thong Lor, for Thai families in the upper income bracket.   This 32-storey building Sukhumvit Soi 55 has a total of 84 units. It took 1 and a half years to finalise the design. Four units on each floor were developed approximately 5 years ago. 90 per cent of the condominium has now been occupied, with only the penthouse and 4 more units left unsold. Nearly all tenants are Thais.   Most affordable price per unit is at 73 million baht. The designer penthouse, which has four bedrooms and fully furnished, costs around 255 million baht.

According to Gaysorn Property's chairman, Charn Srivikorn, “It’s not just about the condominiums but the concept as a whole. We wanted to include aspects of quality design, craftsmanship, services and engaging activities to build a community.”   Some of the clients, said Mr Charn, previously purchased properties from Gaysorn. Many of these clients also bought units for their new Tela Thonglor project or were unable to reserve units from the developer’s other properties.   “We’re less concerned with selling out condos as much as creating a community,” he said. The developer's main concern is "adding to the neighbourhood."   During holidays, you can expect the condominium to host community events or allow tenants to rent communal spaces for their parties and events.   Gaysorn resources were used to make the surroundings more aesthetic. There is a new sidewalk along Thong Lor Soi 13 and it comes with a motorcycle taxi stand in front of the building.   Gaysorn Property managing director, Fafuen Temboonkiat, said the Tela building is their most ambitious residential project to date.   Its other residential condo buildings from the Domus brand are at Sukhumvit Soi 16 and Mode Sukhumvit 61. Both eight-storey luxury condominiums with aesthetics reminiscent of Tela Thonglor.   “The real estate market is in a period of uncertainty,” Mr Fafuen said. “Prices are still quite high, but there remains much uncertainty in the market for investors.”
